Who Can Vote?

Any registered Washington State Voter living in Island County, District 2 can vote for the candidate of their choice in the Primary Election.  The primary election is August 7, 2012.

Island County has three commissioner Districts:

  • District 1: North Whidbey and Camano Island
  • District 2: Oak Harbor and parts of North Whidbey and Central Whidbey
  • District 3: Central and South Whidbey Island

The two candidates with the most votes move on to the General Election on November 6, 2012. All registered voters in Island County are eligible to vote for County Commissioner regardless of what district they represent.
